The door on the cubby section locks in place and then opens to become the writing surface and to reveal two doors and four drawers as well as various storage compartments. It is cherry with ebony and walnut inlay, with carved legs and hand-carved drawer pulls and corbels. In cherry or mahogany the price is $8,300.
